Seedling, Food Security and Stunting PreventionAbstract
Inclusive seedling through the distribution of food crop seeds was implemented in the Regular KKN program in Pilang Village, Jabiren Raya District, Pulang Pisau Regency. This activity aims to improve food security and prevent stunting through the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, which places the community as the main actor. Residents were involved from planning to implementation and evaluation, fostering a sense of ownership and shared responsibility. Seedling activities provided short-term benefits in food availability while equipping residents with sustainable farming skills. Collaboration between students and the community strengthened social networks, encouraged creativity, and optimally utilized local potential. As a result, this program serves as an initial step toward an independent village capable of reducing stunting rates and achieving sustainable development.
