HUTANG PIUTANG DALAM MASYARAKAT DITINJAU DARI PERSPEKTIF FIQIH

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of debt and receivables (qardh) in society from a fiqh perspective and the factors influencing it. Debt practices are widely carried out in daily life as a means of fulfilling economic needs. However, many practices deviate from Islamic law, including the presence of riba, unclear contracts, and negligence in repayment. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that public understanding of fiqh muamalah is still limited, which leads to inconsistencies between theory and practice. Therefore, more intensive education and guidance are needed so that debt transactions can be carried out in accordance with Islamic principles.
