PEMAHAMAN MAHASISWA PAI TERHADAP FIQIH IBADAH DAN IMPLEMENTASINYA DALAM KEHIDUPAN SEHARI-HARI

Abstract

Islamic jurisprudence of worship (fiqh al‘ibadah) is an important part of Islamic education that discusses the rules and procedures for performing acts of worship based on Islamic law. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) students are not only expected to understand the theoretical aspects of fiqh of worship but also to be able to implement them in their daily lives. This study aims to examine PAI students’ understanding of fiqh of worship and its implementation in everyday life. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques may include observation, interviews, and documentation. The study indicates that an understanding of fiqh of worship includes knowledge of purification (thaharah), prayer (salah), fasting, zakat, and other forms of worship. The implementation of this understanding can be demonstrated through performing acts of worship correctly, maintaining cleanliness and ritual purity, being disciplined in performing prayers, and developing behaviors that are consistent with Islamic values. A good understanding of fiqh of worship is expected to help PAI students practice Islamic teachings while preparing themselves to become future Islamic Religious Education teachers.
